Wired Word
The Wired Word is a discussion group that considers a headline news story every week from a Christian perspective, leaning on pertinent scripture. We get together from 9:00 to 9:45 every Sunday. It's a great time for those who have spouses in choir or who want to get an early start on their Sunday morning. In nice weather we meet outside in the Courtyard, but this time of year we just meet in the Social Room. Premium coffee and treats (usually Mic Johnson's cinnamon rolls) are provided.

Praying Imagination
When our kids say, “I’m bored” we often respond by saying, “well, then you need to use your imagination.” We may not use these words when it comes to prayer but it is often true—we’re bored. We pray asking for the same things in the same way and eventually peter out. So, how do we build our praying imagination? In this seven-week class we will explore how to use scripture and other means to build our praying imagination.
We will start on Sunday, September 23 at 11:15 a.m. in the chapel. Please join us!
